Eco-Navi4YOU Empower Youth for a Sustainable Future addresses two critical challenges of our time: youth engagement in sustainability and the fight against climate change. While young people are increasingly concerned about environmental issues, they often lack structured resources and guidance to take meaningful action. At the same time, many youth workers face gaps in digital skills and tools needed to effectively engage young audiences.

The project responds to these needs by combining environmental education with digital platforms, e-learning, and gamification. It empowers youth workers to act as Digital Eco-Navigators who can mentor, motivate, and guide young people towards sustainable lifestyles and climate action. A key innovation of the project is the GreenBadges system, which provides formal digital recognition of eco-skills and sustainable practices.

Aligned with the European Green Deal, the EU Youth Strategy 2019–2027, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Eco-Navi4YOU bridges research, policy, and practice. By ensuring inclusion, accessibility, and cross-border cooperation, the project creates long-lasting resources and networks that will continue to support sustainability education beyond the project’s lifetime.
